I think that people should pursue careers in golf. I would recommend this career because golf is just a great game. If i had to do this over again, I would still choose golfing as my career. The pros are that you don't really have a real job, you just play golf. The Cons are that you can only play when it's warm out. People should know that its better to lucky rather then good in golf.
I was formerly a high school basketball coach. My advice for others considering this career is to not take the loses personally. You won't win every game, and you will be miserable if you take all the loses as a personal reflection of yourself. I do reccomend this career, as one can have such a positive impact on the players you coach. I would still choose this career if I had to do it over and am currently looking to re-enter the field. A few of the pros of coaching are working in a fast paced environment. Working with youth and having a positive impact in your life. It is also great to be able to look over the season and see the outcome of your hard work. The cons of this job is that you will be extremely busy during the months of the in-season. There is also major planning during the off season. Keeping your players motivated is sometimes a tiring task, and inevitably you will have parents to deal with.
