I am a Financial Analyst for a debt settlement company. The pro's to this job is working from anywhere that you have your laptop, and the con's are that the rules and regulations change CONSTANTLY and you have to be very aware of all the laws. As the economy worsens, more and more people are frightened to do anything so it makes my job more difficult.
Before you enter into this occupation you must be sure you are doing this for the "long haul" to help people....do what you love, and the money will come!
I chose this career, because I couldn't find anything else that I wanted to do. The first year that I was in this field I remember saying, "Man, all I ever do is find and fix problems!!". Then, after stepping back and realizing that that is what analysis is all about, I took a different view of it. I know see my job as a puzzle that I get to solve. This allows me to feel valuable and get real enjoyment out of my job.
