military are the life of the country.with out milityary we cant see any country.militaries only protect the people fro all bad peoples.they are really very good eople because they are ready to sacrifice their life for their own country.as a military man i love my job and enjoy my life to service my country and to the people.we ra eworking for the coutry day and night.if any one has more affection on their country means compulory he will become a military man in his future.

I started out as a lighthouse keeper 30 years ago and now work in USCG Headquarters with some of the best and brightest people in the world.
I work hard, am challenged, am respected, and get to see and do things that don't even make it to the Discovery Channel.
Currently I'm working on information systems to be able to alert industry to changes in our maritime security system. I also work on a DHS collaboration system that can connects senior government officials to what is happening throughout the country.
I love my job. I love the people that I work with. It was worth all the effort to move through the ranks and grow into this job.

The military is very challenging and rewarding. I have over 14 years of active service in the Army. Staying with the Army has been a good choice for me. The Army helped pay for my Bachelors and Masters degrees. There are also many great benefits for Army families. I have had numerous opportunities for travel and adventure. My assignments included Korea, Hawaii, Europe, and several stateside locations. So far, I have two combat deployments to Iraq.
The travelling and deployments are tough on families. You need a strong spouse if you want your marriage to survive.
The Army is very demanding physically. You will be pushed to the limit with lots of running and ruck sack marches. I strongly recommend that you start your military career while you are young and healthy.
I am leaving active service next month; but I will be continuing my military service in the reserves. I will not be able to stay on active duty until retirement...medical problems are slowing me down. The military has wonderful medical care; but supervisors do not approve of any admission of weakness. Many Soldiers try to hide injuries so their records are perfect when it comes time for the promotion boards. When my injuries were recorded on my record, it was just a matter of time before I was weeded out. Hopefully, I will be able to salvage some retirement benefits by finishing my 20 years in the reserves.
Regardless of whether I make it to retirement, the benefits I have received so far have made my military service worth while. I am also eligible for many benefits from the Veteran's Administration. I recommend the military for anyone who is healthy and adventurous.
