If you have the money or the scholarships to get in at TU, definitely go for it. Intelligent professors, active students, and great classes. I've been to a couple of different colleges and this is perhaps the only one that feels like it's geared towards education instead of just pretending to care about education while focusing on it's internal business or football teams.
The University of Tulsa is a terrific school. The faculty's great. The football team is LOUSY. Campus is really nice (and growing, so things are really new). Tulsa's actually a nice town. It's not your typical small town with a college in it... although, it is kind of a small city (1 million people spread over a LARGE area). TU is getting LOTS of private funding. That means the programs are generally well endowed and the student body has a good education ahead.
Night life isn't bad in Tulsa. Not too many big name top 50 bands come through Tulsa though. For those you have to travel to Dallas or Oklahoma City (at least until the new convention center is built). Otherwise, lots of REALLY good indie bands and dancing clubs.
