Overall, my college experience was okay. In general really liked my classes and professors, and I feel like I received a quality education. However, I didn't rate this college higher because the adminstration is unorganized and has messed up several things for me. For example, they made a mistake registering me for a summer individualized instruction class, and then told me to resubmit it the next summer (although I didn't make the mistake and had made the payment before the deadline, but by the time they found the mistake it was past the deadline.) This caused me to graduate in August instead of May. Then, they didn't graduate me for August until November because there was a hidden hold on my account. I couldn't see it from my account, I graduated with honors so I knew it wasn't anything academic, and I had taken all of the required classes. The school couldn;t "figure out why the system wouldn't let me graduate." There was a hold for my signature saying that I understood that my financial aid grace period would start. They never mailed me the fom to sign and the only person who could see the hold was from another department all together. Even with all of this, I went back for my graduate courses there and have had similar problems with several departments. I feel that the education at the school is great but people could focus more on their studies if they didn't have to spend so much time dealing with an incompetent administration and its staff. |
